Tales from the Scales – The tales of one man’s battle against the ongoing invasion of the dreaded Adipose.

I know Adipose is a medical term, but the first thing I think of when I hear the word, Adipose is the Doctor Who episode, Partners in Crime!

And the first post on my new blog is to report that my weight this morning was in excess of 100kg! 0.6kg in excess to be precise!

As my height is 5ft 7, (funny how I still use feet and inches for height, but use metric for weight), according to my Renpho app, that gives me a Body Mass Index of 34.8. With the 34.8 showing as red, that means I’m classed as obese! Not good!

It’s very rare that I exceed 100kg and what with it being Christmas and us both recovering from Covid, I have some excuse for going over, but still not good!

I have three days left of 2023, so I’m going to try to get back down to under 100kg for the New Year.
